We are pleased to have started a new site for Taylor Wimpey this week at Winchburgh Village. Our contract includes earthworks, soil stabilisation and civils works.
As part of our design solution for the Winchburgh development, we have also identified the need to import 28,000 tonnes of upfill material. Through our partnership with Taylor Wimpey, we will remove this material from other Taylor Wimpey developments across Scotland, modify it to render it suitable for structural earthworks using soil stabilisation methods, and use it to create the solution we need in Winchburgh. Before our involvement, this 28,000 tonnes of upfill material would have been bound for landfill, so our creative approach is great for business as well as the planet!
