We would like to introduce Craig van den Heever & Tracey Horsburgh who are both now familiar faces in our Head Office.

Craig has joined us as our new Financial Controller.  He joins the team with over 16 years’ experience working as a Financial Controller and Head of Payroll Services and has spent time working across several Financial Services, including Banking, Hospitality and the Legal Industry before joining GDL. Craig brings with him a wealth of knowledge spanning all aspects of finance from basic bookkeeping through to payroll, financial management and strategy. He is well versed in accounting processes and payroll services. Through adept application of interpersonal skills and communication, Craig enjoys collaborating across all levels to ensure alignment and efficiencies.

Craig says “From day one, I have been welcomed into GDL, everybody is welcoming, friendly, and professional. I am excited to see what the future brings for me and how I can adapt my skills to the Construction Industry”.

Tracey has joined us as our new Office Administrator.  Prior to joining GDL Tracey worked as a Dental Nurse for a total of 20 years and found it challenging during Covid so decided on a complete change of career path.

Tracey says “As a dental nurse it is surprising how much admin work needs to be done when dealing with a patient.  In the past, I have also worked with Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering companies.  Since joining, I have taken the knowledge I have gained over the years and adapted my way of working to make the processes work for GDL.  I have now been with GDL for 6 months and I have never looked back”.

Kevin Mackenzie, Managing Director adds “It has been a pleasure to welcome both Craig and Tracey to GDL.  They are both great additions to the team and it has been great to see them settle in since they joined us”.
