This year, we have donated £3,000 to two charities that are close to our hearts at GDL. This year Forth One’s Mission Christmas have received £1500, which has gone towards its appeal to make sure that no child in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife, and Falkirk wakes-up on Christmas Day to an empty stocking.
Mission Christmas have picked up a stack of presents and we hope they bring lots of fun and happiness to children across the area.
A further £1500 has been donated to Guide Dogs UK to sponsor two young puppies – Eve and Fletcher – to support their training to become guide dogs of the future.
