Landslip Dalkeith

Ground developments ltd  are busy working to help reopen a busy section of road at Dalkeith.

A major landslip forced the closure of the A6106 between Sheriff Hall roundabout and Dalkeith, over a year ago.

Ground Developments have been contracted by Crummock (Scotland) ltd, to undertake the earthworks operations required to reinstate the slope. In order to meet the requirements of the engineers high performance end – product specification, we are treating the previously excavated marginal materials by means of soil stabilisation prior to placement.

The ultimate client for the works is Midlothian Council.
