We have given our support to a local community football team in Livingston by becoming the main strip sponsor for Murieston United Football Club under 9s team who play grass root level five-a-side football.
Scott McArthur, team coach for Murieston United FC said: “We’re thrilled to have received this sponsorship from GDL. Their support has allowed the club to provide a set of home strips for our under 9’s team, and they’re absolutely thrilled with their new and professional look which helps them to bond and feel part of our wider team and club set-up.
“The children currently train really hard twice a week and play five-a-side matches on a Friday evening. We’ll move them up into playing in a local league in about 8 months so this sponsorship is just the start of their journey in football.”
Commenting on the sponsorship Kevin Mackenzie, Commercial Director for GDL said: “We’re delighted to show our support for Murieston United Football Club in this way, and we hope that our continued involvement will bring the team lots of luck in future matches.”
