We are pleased to have secured a contract for the bulk earthworks and soil stabilisation at Eliburn, Livingston for our new client Barratt Homes East Scotland. This contract award re-affirms our position as the enabling contractor of choice for major house builders where they face challenging ground conditions.
The programme of works will be supervised by the clients’ engineers DR Murray Associates, and we will complete the full testing and validation process that is required to the high standards set by the home building industry’s structural warranty provider – the NHBC.
The works comprise of a cut / fill earthworks operation, and our soil stabilisation techniques will be used to process the site won soils into an acceptable material for use in the structural earthworks operations.

We are now underway on this project for Barratt Homes East Scotland, which will also see us undertaking civil engineering works to support the overall development to ensure the site is fully-enabled for construction of the proposed new housing. Our work at Eilburn complements significant projects we’re already working on for other major house builders that include Taylor Wimpey and Persimmon Homes.”
