We are working towards stage 1 of the British Standards Institution (BSI) Quality Management System ISO9001:2008 – an ISO certification which we will complete before Christmas, and we’re also fully committed to progressing and achieving stage 2 by early 2016 in order to achieve full certification.
We’ve chosen BSI certification due to its UKAS accreditation and objective to improve quality standards across the world, but there are also overall business benefits that ISO certification will bring to GDL’s strategic performance as Ryan Johnston adds: “Securing ISO certification highlights our attitude and drive for quality in everything that we do, and it gives our business a strong platform for the continued improvement of our processes which will undoubtedly assist in the growth of our business.
